The Arts Council of York County manages 5 galleries
and 1 open air gallery in York County, South Carolina.
These galleries including the Dalton Gallery, Perimeter Gallery, and Lewandowski Classroom Gallery at the Center for the Arts; Alleys as Galleries in Cotton Alley in Old Town Rock Hill; and The Loading Dock Gallery at the Tom S. Gettys Center. Also located in the Tom S. Gettys Center are the Courtroom Gallery curated by the Friday Arts Project in partnership with the Arts Council of York County, and J. Michael Simpson's Springeri Studio Gallery.

The Arts Council of York County presents the 35th Annual Juried Competition at the Center for the Arts. Each year, the Juried Competition is open nationally to artists 18 and older. Only original work, created in the last two (2) years, and not previously shown at the Center for the Arts, Dalton Gallery is accepted.

Courtroom Gallery

Curated by the Friday Arts Project in partnership with the Arts Council of York County, the Courtroom Gallery functions as a community gallery and features both established and emerging artists. The Courtroom Gallery is located on the second floor of the Gettys Art Center, in the hallway that leads into the Courtroom.

The Arts Council of York County creates arts programming that encourages education, economic development, and arts advocacy through unique art experiences that engage the community to make York County a regional arts destination. The vision is to create a thriving, diverse and vibrant arts community in York County.
The Arts Council strives to present a variety of exhibitions that involve, expose, and educate the community in the visual arts. The Arts Council manages six galleries in three buildings and two open air galleries in Old Town Rock Hill.
