Paint Around is a collaborative painting event where multiple artists work together to create an artwork piece in a fun, fast-paced environment.

Event Details
ACYC Paint Around encourages creativity, teamwork, and spontaneity, making it a dynamic and enjoyable event for both participants and spectators.
Works of art will be painted collaboratively in several rounds as artists of shared disciplines add to their neighbors' creations.Each artist will have the opportunity to start a painting. When the buzzer sounds, artists will move on to another canvas within their discipline, adding their unique touch to what the previous artist started. This continues until all the rounds are complete, resulting in collaborative pieces of art.

*Please note: No oils, fiber arts (unless used as mixed media), or sculpture allowed. All media must adhere to the provided substrate.
Schedule

5 - 6 PM | Artists Arrive

Artists come to the event and set up their materials. They bring their own tools, while canvas boards are provided by the Arts Council.

6 - 7 PM | Paint Around

The painting session is divided into several timed rounds:

First Round | 20 minutes

Second Round | 10 minutes

Third Round | 5 minutes

Final Round | 1 minute

5 - 6 PM and 7 - 8 PM | Mix & Mingle

Before and after the painting session, artists and attendees have the opportunity to socialize, network, and enjoy refreshments.

5 - 8 PM | Open to the Public

The public is invited to explore the galleries and watch the participating artists create their collaborative works of art.
