She taught 9th grade grammar and literature at York Comprehensive High School for several years after graduation. She left teaching in 1992 to pursue her love of the stage, starring in regional productions of comedies and musicals. Performing at sea called in 1994, and she sang and danced her way around the world. She was offered the role of Cruise Director in 2014, and to date, her life at sea has taken her to 132 countries.
Margaret Lynn’s role as Cruise Director keeps her close to music and on the stage, serving as host in many daytime, and most all, evening entertainment venues – games, trivia, Karaoke, shows, competitions, talent showcases and special events for top cruisers. When not travelling, Lynn can be seen locally as the female vocalist for JazzGroupProject and as a guest singer for the Kudzu Kowboys out of York. She’s honored to be invited to participate this evening and can’t wait to see the local talent shine!
