​

Submission of my application and images shall constitute my agreement to comply with all the conditions and terms set forth in this application and associated guidelines. I understand that all decisions by ACYC staff and the juror are final. I release and discharge the ACYC and its employees from any and all claims.

NO ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED WITHOUT A SIGNATURE. COMPLETE THE FORM BELOW AND SUBMIT WITH MEDIA. PLEASE PROOF THE ENTRY BEFORE SUBMISSION.

FEE | NO FEE TO APPLY

Artists must submit a minimum of 10 samples.

COMMISSION | The ACYC will receive 15% of each work sold during this event.

ENTRY INFORMATION

All artwork samples/portfolios must be submitted as .JPG or .PDF

Sample/portfolio file name(s) must be labeled with: First initial-Last name-Entry Title.

The second file should be titled: First initial-Last Name-Entry Title_2.

If more than 1 file is submitted, please following the same naming format increasing the number with each additional entry.

  • Artists must submit a portfolio containing at least ten (10) examples of their work for consideration.

  • Submitted artwork should be representative of the work intended for sale during Art Frenzy.

  • Final inventory and pricing information will be requested from selected artists prior to installation.

  • You may submit samples as a portfolio or up to 10 individual images.

  • Both portfolios and images may be submitted.

  • The IMAGES button will allow you to upload up to 10 files.

Example: Kelly Bobby's Untitled entry would be: K-Bobby-Untitled, and K-Bobby-Untitled_2 for the second view, if needed.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

By submitting this application, I acknowledge that, if selected to participate in Art Frenzy, I have read, understand, and agree to the following terms and conditions established by the Arts Council of York County (ACYC).

I understand that I am responsible for completing installation and deinstallation during the designated dates.

 

Booth Installation, Safety & Restoration

  • Participating artists will receive an assigned gallery space approximately 6 – 8 feet in size. One 6-foot table will be provided upon request.

  • Artists are encouraged to customize their booth spaces to reflect their artistic style. Painting, unique displays, and temporary installations are welcome, provided proposed wall alterations and installation methods are approved by ACYC staff in advance.

  • Artists are responsible for installing and removing their own artwork and displays during the designated installation and deinstallation dates.

  • All artwork and displays must be securely installed. Artists are expected to use appropriate tools and equipment, follow basic safety precautions, and keep walkways and emergency exits clear. Installations requiring electricity, structural modifications, or specialized equipment must receive prior approval.

  • Mounting holes may not exceed 1/8 inch in diameter. Permanent structural alterations are prohibited.

  • Artists are responsible for restoring their assigned gallery spaces to their original condition following the event. This includes removing all display materials and hardware, patching and sanding holes, repainting walls, and cleaning their areas. Painted or repaired surfaces must be properly primed as necessary, with no visible alterations remaining.

  • ACYC will provide standard gallery paint, rollers, and wall-patching supplies. Artists are responsible for completing all restoration work during the designated deinstallation dates, with a final walkthrough by ACYC staff.

Artwork & Sales

  • All artwork and merchandise must be priced at $150 or less per item.

  • Eligible items include original fine art, handmade crafts, prints, zines, stickers, and more.

  • All wall-mounted artwork must be securely installed using approved hanging methods. Two-dimensional artwork intended for traditional gallery hanging must be securely wired.

  • All sales will be processed through ACYC's central checkout system. Direct sales, bidding, and auctions are not permitted.

  • Artists will receive 85% of each sale, with the remaining 15% commission retained by ACYC.

  • Artists must properly label their merchandise using the provided tear-tag system and follow ACYC's inventory procedures.

  • Artists are encouraged to maintain adequate inventory and replenish sold artwork throughout the event whenever possible.

 

Liability & Permissions

  • ACYC will exercise reasonable care in handling artwork while it is in its possession but does not cover shipping expenses or insurance during transportation to or from the Center for the Arts.

  • ACYC reserves the right to refuse or remove artwork that does not comply with event guidelines.

  • ACYC reserves the right to photograph and reproduce submitted artwork for educational and promotional purposes related to the event.​
