Colorful paintings of old working-class houses and mill houses. Landscapes, the passing of time, nostalgia, cats and dogs, backyard gardens and shadows in the noon-light are other images. I love painted layers of color and the interaction between the layers. My work is quiet and somewhat reflective. The small houses represent a different era, when information was slower, square footage was smaller and hyperconsumerism was not seen as an entitlement.
