Sandy operates her home studio, Footloose art, on Hillcrest Road in York South Carolina. Her award-winning watercolors, acrylics, and oils are in private and corporate collections across the United States. Her first love in media is watercolor. She often switches to acrylics or oils to achieve a highly realistic rendering of wildlife. She has traveled to All 48 contiguous States, photographing and researching subject matter for her painting. Sandy is widely known in North and South Carolina for her generous donations of wildlife art to various organizations. She takes great satisfaction in knowing that she has helped raise thousands of dollars to aid these organizations in their efforts to provide and maintain habitats for many species of wildlife, not just in the Carolinas, but nationally and internationally. Sandy has been teaching watercolor classes since 1990. She teaches 3 adult water classes a week, in her home studio.
