I grew up on a back road dairy farm in Western NY and I have been drawing and painting since I was a child. I am self-taught in than I never had the opportunity to take art classes beyond high school. After my children were grown, I found much more time to dedicate to my art obsession and took up my paint brushes again in earnest in 1999 after we moved to Myrtle Beach. I was represented in several galleries along the Grand Strand over the years.

I sign my paintings with my maiden name in honor of the child in me who keeps the delightful dream of being an artist alive. I am a nature enthusiast and amateur birder, and hiking the woods is one of my favorite activities, especially if the sun is shining and I have my Nikon camera with me. I do my best to capture nature’s amazing beauty in my paintings. It is how I say “Look, isn’t that beautiful?”
