I do contemporary landscape paintings. In each landscape image, I try to abstract patterns of color and texture with cross-hatching and dots to create an illusion of reality that hopefully becomes depth and atmosphere to the eye of the viewer. The interplay of color is very important to me and keeps me enthusiastically engaged in the painting process.
