I believe that the 'Universal Languages' which everyone understands are mathematics, art, and music. For me the opportunity to create and pretend most of my adult life while making a living at it is a rare profession. The world of the Fine and Performing Arts coupled with my university teaching career has allowed me to understand the meaning of lifelong learning through my sensory awareness. I feel gratification when I complete a work of art whether it is a stage design, sculpture, or a painting, because it is something that I created from my imagination. It actually comes to fruition! As an artist/educator you can never stop learning!
