Studios & Facility Rental

2010 Artist Studio Rental
All rates subject to change at the discretion of the Arts Council.
The Arts Council offers several private artist studios at below-market rent. Rates vary depending on size and features of studio space.
Currently, all Arts Council studios are occupied. Please email us or call us at 803.328.2787 if you would like to add your name to our waiting list.
2010 Special Event Facility Rental
Available spaces:
Center for the Arts (Dalton, Perimeter and Classroom Galleries)
121 E. Main Street, Rock Hill
Capacity: typically 90-100 if sit-down reception, 250 if not
Gettys Center Courtroom (2nd floor)
201 E. Main Street, Rock Hill
Capacity: 118

- Smoking is prohibited in all facilities.
- The renter is responsible for set-up prior to the event and clean-up after the event is over.
- Both spaces: Rental fee - $650
- Security Deposit: $250 (reserves your date, fully refundable after event)
*NOTE-your event will not be on our calendar until this deposit is paid! - Security Fee: $15/hour | $30/hour after 10pm
(Required. The Arts Council will provide a security guard for all events. Time worked includes set-up and clean-up afterwards.Security fees are the responsibility of the renter and must be paid in advance. Any hours worked outside of those specified on the contract will be deducted from the deposit. - Tables: $5/each (12 round, 12 rectangle)
- Chairs: $1/each
- Optional Cleaning Fee: $100 ($150 if alcohol is served) The renter is responsible for all setup and cleanup for the event unless this cleaning fee is requested. The cleaning fee covers cleanup of tables and chairs, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, etc. rather than you do it yourself. The cleaning fee does not cover cleanup of food or taking out trash (this is the caterer’s responsibility!)
- Catering: Renter’s choice. The Arts Council can recommend catering services if needed, and may also be able to recommend other services you may need for your event.
